Torus Foundation are currently recruiting Casual Receptionists to work as part of the Reception Team based at the Fire Fit Hub

The successful candidate will be employed to form part of the team using the computerised booking system, cash handling, and customer service. Experience of working with a variety of customers is essential, including young people, sports bookings, corporate customers, and members of the public.  The successful candidate will have an excellent telephone manner, and will be approachable and proactive. The candidate will possess excellent IT skills, customer care skills, and strong administration skills.

The position is a casual hours role with training available for the right candidates. The position may involve a mix of daytime, evening and weekend working.

 

This is an important role in which you will:

  • Routinely liaise with users of the centre, assisting in bookings, membership sales and general queries.
  • Reception duties including handling cash, telephone and e mail enquiries.
  • Be required to work evenings, weekends and some daytime shifts

 

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Be able to demonstrate clear communication skills
  • Enjoy working with the public of all ages and ethnicities
  • Have a flexible approach to working

  • DBS check (if required for role)
