We are extremely excited to launch our new Neighbourhood Housing Management Model across our operating areas of Liverpool, Warrington, and St Helens. This model has been devised to enhance the way our services are delivered and to ensure we are more responsive to tenants needs through spending more time in our Torus neighbourhoods. To achieve this, we are investing significant investment and additional resources in our Neighbourhoods team with the aim of creating more manageable patch sizes and restoring the personal link between tenants and their Neighbourhood Officer.

Torus are seeking a pro-active and dedicated Team Leader to lead on our Tenancy Sustainment Service.

The role will support a team of 7 Tenancy Sustainment officers who provide practical advice and support to tenants with multiple complex needs and challenging behaviour, who require assistance with sustaining their tenancy.

This is in an important role which plays a central part in the lives of people who may need additional advice and support.

This is an important role in which you will:

  • To motivate, lead, empower and inspire team members and to demonstrate the core company behaviours and values.
  • To support team members to empower customers to positively engage in support services to promote financial independence, raising aspirations, gaining, and maintaining successful tenancies, keep customers safe and ultimately reduce tenancy failure across Liverpool, Warrington, and St Helens
  • Support, identify and respond to adult and children safeguarding concerns, taking action when required.
  • Monitor and review team member’s caseloads and multi-agency working.
  • Lead on team meetings and 1-2-1s
  • Ensure that internal service level agreements are maintained in relation to referrals made to Tenancy Sustainment Team

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Acting as an ambassador for Torus and building relationships with tenants and external agencies will be an important part of this role.
  • Reporting to the Operations Manager - Support Network, you will also be responsible for meeting key performance targets, whilst coaching the team and utilising performance frameworks and data.
  • We are seeking applicants that are highly motivated, can work effectively as part of a team and can deliver excellent outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience of leading a team in a support environment is preferred, however we will be offering an exciting training and development programme as part of this role.
