This is a permanent, full-time vacancy that will close in {x} days at {xx:xx} BST.

We are extremely excited to launch our new Neighbourhood Housing Management Model across our operating areas of Liverpool, Warrington, and St Helens. This model has been devised to enhance the way our services are delivered and to ensure we are more responsive to tenants needs through spending more time in our Torus neighbourhoods. To achieve this, we are investing significant investment and additional resources in our Neighbourhoods team with the aim of creating more manageable patch sizes and restoring the personal link between tenants and their Neighbourhood Officer.

We therefore have a range of exciting opportunities within our Neighbourhoods team and are welcoming applications from candidates who want to be part of a professional team, committed to providing excellent housing management services and putting tenants at the heart of what we do.

This is an important role in which you will:

  • Be responsible for the efficient and effective delivery of the Furnished Tenancies Scheme.
  • Manage and coordinate the activities of the Furnished Tenancy Officer.
  • Assist the Service Lead Allocations in monitoring all aspects of expenditure connected to void properties. 
  • Manage the performance of your service area and contractors
  • Help reduce void turnaround times and rent loss through the effective use of furnished tenancy packages
  • Manage contracts and competitive tendering for best value for money
  • Smoothly expand the Furnished Tenancies Service

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Be passionate about social housing, ending furniture poverty and supporting people to maintain their tenancies.
