We own and manage around 40,000 homes in Warrington, St Helens, Liverpool and beyond, making Torus the region’s largest affordable housing provider.

 

Profits generated by group members Torus Developments and HMS are reinvested into our charitable arm Torus Foundation, a community anchor institution, to fund projects that build social capital and fulfil our mission of ‘growing stronger communities’.

 

We currently seeking an Infrastructure Analyst to provide the day-to-day operation of delivering and maintaining an effective and efficient IT infrastructure across the group.

 

This is an important role in which you will:

  • Provide high quality ICT services to managers, staff and other customers within a culture of openness, participation and performance
  • Maintain the existing technical infrastructure of Torus IT systems and telephony
  • Support the Service Delivery and Infrastructure Manager in best practice for requirements analysis, planning, design, deployment and ongoing operations management
  • Assist with the delivery of projects contained within the IT strategy
  • Assist in ensuring that reporting requirements are being met
  • Assist with the development and implementation of data and voice / video communications systems
  • Ensure hardware inventories are checked and updated regularly
  • Ensure effective and robust security and backup systems are in place for both data and equipment

 

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Hold a degree in a relevant subject or have equivalent experience
  • Have demonstrable experience of delivering IT infrastructure operational services
  • Have experience of excellent customer service within an IT environment in a large and complex organisation
  • Have a track record of transforming processes to improve performance based on intelligence led data and strong project management skills
  • Have evidence of operating collaboratively as one team to take collective responsibility for overall performance
  • Have experience of the following:

 

- Citrix Virtual Applications and Desktop

- Citrix NetScaler

- Network Administration

- VMware

- Microsoft Office 365

- Microsoft Exchange 2013

- Microsoft Windows Server 2008 / 2012 / 2016 / 2019

- DHCP / DNS

- ITIL Service Delivery

  • Have knowledge of ICT security and auditing requirements
  • Be able to plan and prioritise own workload
  • Be highly motivated and resilient
